This is an English for Academic Purposes Course, specifically designed to meet students' academic needs regarding their study area, which is the Biological, Chemical, and Medical Sciences Area.

This is an English Course designed to meet students' linguistic needs regarding the Abstract Sciences field. The course is organized in an introductory week and three modules; the first is related to Physics and Maths, the second to Optics and the third to Physics and Maths.

El propósito de este taller es desarrollar habilidades para la búsqueda eficiente de información confiable, amplia y actualizada en temas relacionados con las Ciencias Biológicas, Químicas y de la Salud con el uso imprescindible de las lenguas extranjeras.


This workshop has been designed according to NASA'a teaching and learning resources about the effects of microgravity upon the human brain.

Tha general goal is to identify some of the most important physiological alterations in human brain caused by microgravity in space. 

This course presents ten topics related to the climate on Earth: its principles, the types of climates, the causes and some natural phenomena.

These contents are complementary to those in the official syllabi for:

  • English VI, Units 2 & 3
  • Geology and Mineralogy, Unit 3.4
  • Chemical Physics, Unit 2
